One Pearl of Great Value

"The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it" (Matthew 13:44-46).

What would we sell all to acquire? Jesus teaches us about valuing the kingdom of heaven. His kingdom is worth selling out for...joyfully! How much value do we place on the presence of God in our lives? How much is His reign and righteousness worth?

Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 - "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you." God's presence brings life and life abundantly (John 10:10)! God's presence is full of His eternal glory! There is no greater worth!
